Wheel Of Fortune – Raven
Song from the very rare first seven single featuring Piet Botha which was released in 1979. Raven included keyboardist Gabi le Roux who went on to become a master kwaito producer for Mandoza and others.
Bossies – Wildebeest
Track off the rare ‘Horings Op Die Stoep’ Wildebeest 4-track EP from 1983. Composed by Colin Pratley, the drummer for Freedom’s Children and Wildebeest.
Fort Lauderdale (original 1990 version) – Jack Hammer
This is the song that should have been used for the soundtrack of the movie ‘Stander‘ but wasn’t! First recorded in 1990 and released on ‘The Judas Chapter‘, this song was later re-recorded in 1999 and released on Jack Hammer’s ‘Anthology‘ album.
